Description

In 1991 two evaluation trenches (40m x 3m) were excavated to the NE and SW of Folly Lane. Neither trench revealed evidence of the Roman road. (1) Grid ref for Trench 2. see E9517 for Trench 3, E9518 for topographic survey.
