Description

The test pit (ref BG13TP12) was a 1x1m square to a depth of 50cm on the main green, dug by hand in 10cm spits; all spits were 100% sieved and all spits were recorded on context sheets, including finds. A cobblestone surface was found at 25cm. (1)
