An archaeological desk-based assessment and heritage statement for land at Winkburn Lane, Winkburn, Nottinghamshire has been prepared in advance of the proposed development of the site for a new dwelling and double garage. A 500m radius of the site was studied. Remains in the vicinity include medieval earthworks close to the assessment area and possible Roman remains further afield. The study contains; map regression, details regarding a site visit and photos of the site and environs.
