Description

This desk based report has been based on information obtained from documentary sources such as NHER and has been prepared prior to the application for residential development. The study states that the area has low potential for archaeology, though does state that there is evidence of Prehistoric and Roman activity within 1km of the study area. The report suggests that there is a high chance that below ground remains of a 19th century bridleway and a possible post medieval windmill to the west of Rempstone Road. A map regression exercise took place as part of this study.
