Hyder Consulting (UK) Limited has been commissioned by Lightsource Renewable Energy Limited to prepare a Cultural Heritage Desk-Based Assessment for a proposed Solar PV Development at Little Morton, Nottinghamshire. The study area includes a 2km radius of the pro-posed development site. There is the potential/risk for the proposed development to impact upon the brickwork plan field systems remains which are of local/ regional significance (depending on the state of preservation and presence of enclosures). The potential is, however, limited because of the small area of excavation associated with the proposed development. The report suggests a geo-physical survey takes place prior to any development to determine the extent of possible archaeolo-gy. The study includes the results and photographs from a walkover survey which took place on 08/2013 and a map regression exercise.
