Description

The study area comprises a square block of land at Toothill Comprehensive School, Bingham, Nottinghamshire. The proposed development involves the construction of a new school building. The report states that in summary the area has a rich and diverse landscape with the potential to contain discoveries from a number of periods. There is evidence of Roman activity close to the site, there has been Anglo Saxon discoveries also at the site. There report also suggests that there is significant evidence of medieval activity such as ridge and furrow. The report contains a map regression of the site, and modern photos taken on a field visit.
