Description

This archaeological desk-based assessment considers an area of land approximately of 6.7ha in size, proposed for residential development off Costock Road, East Leake, Nottinghamshire. The report states that the assessment has established that there are no designated heritage assets within the study site. Development within the site will have no direct or indirect impacts on any designated assets within 1km of the site. Archaeological and historical information from the area surrounding the study site indicates that the study site has a moderate potential to contain Prehistoric evidence, likely to be of local significance, and a moderate potential for medieval cultivation remains, likely to be of negligible significance.
