Description

A laser scanning survey (Riegl 3D Imaging Sensor), a magnetic survey (Fluxgate Gradiometer), and an earth resistance survey (TR Systems Earth Resistance Meter) were undertaken on the site of Crow Close. Their results were compared and contrasted, along with 1950s aerial photography, in order to map and understand the earthworks present on this site. Ridge and furrow, hollow-ways, field and property boundaries, and WWII earthworks are identified.
