A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 33 hectares of arable land. The survey has identified a former enclosure, areas of ridge and furrow and a number of post medieval field boundaries. Four possible archaeological anomalies have also been identified; however it is not possible to determine their origin with any degree of confidence. The remaining anomalies are of modern and natural origin. The modern anomalies relate to agricultural activity, an underground service, ferrous objects and fencing.
