The site is located at Jubilee Farm approximately 1 km southeast of the village of Blyth and approximately 8 km northeast of the town of Worksop. The area of excavation was surveyed using an industry standard Trimble GPS. The aimof the watching brief was to identify any archaeological remains which may have been located within the development area, however none were recorded. This was consistent with aerial photography which had identified crop marks near to the site, but which did not continue into the site.
