Description

The site is located 9.5km south west of Nottingham; it is bound to the south west by Nicker Hill and to the north west by the British Geological Survey offices. Technique Instrument: Magnetometer Bartington Grad 601-2 Traverse Interval: 1m Sample Interval: 0.25m No anomalies of archaeological significance have been identified within the survey areas. A single linear feature in one area is likely to be to a former field boundary. Responses from ridge and furrow regimes can be seen throughout the dataset. Linear responses in five areas have been characterised as land drains.
