Description

This was carried out between July and Sptember on the following lines. Trench A was cut from W to E at the southern edge of the excavated area, trench B parallel to it 8ft to the north, trench C at right angles to and at the eastern ends of A and B but also extending 9ft to the north of B, and trench D was the excavation of the area bounded by A, B and C. (2)
