Description

Excavations directed by MJ Dean. Initially the work was carried out in the evenings and at the weekends, using voluntary labour. Area 3, narrow strip lying between the south-west drainage ditch and the fence marking the limit of NCC property, was excavated in March to December 1966. (1)
