Description

Some excavation was undertaken by the writer by kind permission of Captain HD Argles. It was, unfortunately, never completed, as the excavator was called from the district. 2 of the 5 mounds were investigated - a small trench in the largest one (L8585) and one to the NW (L8583). (1)
