Description

It was proposed to develop the site for leisure purposes. The majority of magnetic variation recorded appeared to reflect past agricultural activity including residual traces of ridge and furrow or natural processes. A limited number of linear anomalies may have indicated buried ditches, including an L-shaped ditch to the immediate Sutton Middle Lane, which also featured as a cropmark. The survey also recorded a small number of potential pits/sites of burning. NGR is rough and may not be accurate - NRHE
