Description

One of multiple watching briefs carried out during residential conversion and extension to farm buildings. Foundatio trenches revealed widespread modern disturbance from filing and capping coalmining subsidence in the Magnesian Limestone bedrock. Timber posts from a demolished Dutch barn were found, but there were no features or artefacts of antiquity.
