Description
The Second World War Royal Ordnance explosives Filling Factory at Ruddington was identified from documentary sources during the RCHME project `Dangerous Energy the archaeology of gunpowder and military explosives manufacture. A field visit was made to the factory in January 1995 to confirm its location and to ascertain what if anything survived of the factory. Limited aerial photography was taken of the site in September 1996
