Description

A magnetometer survey was carried out in the gardens of Abbey House to ascertain the existence of archaeological remains on the site. A large number of anomalies were detected reflecting a water main and the modern usage of much of the gardens as driveways. Three sections of a possible ditch or brick wall were detected, as were several weak anomalies suggestive of ditches and pits.
