Full Description

To the SE is a semi-circular bank on the south side of a terraced platform, alongside the stream. Silted up ditches meet at a crossroads. The central field is surrounded on three sides by a bank. In the north corner by the road is a large elongated bank. A set of linear banks are grouped some 20m into the field, partly in line with the modern church building. To the NW, curving terrace banks define a raised area. A large bank lies in the SE corner and a roughly square terraced hollow in the north corner. (1)

See SMR L1986 for a ford to the east.
