Full Description

Four coins have been found and reported from metal detecting at Colston Bassett. Two are Med and the other two belong to the reigns of Elizabeth I and James I. The two Med coins are reported as coming from SK 6965 3365 and SK 6980 3368, that of Elizabeth from SK 6979 3365 while that of James comes from SK 6979 3365. (1)
NB from the edges of the cricket pitch, between village and site of church.
