Full Description

One hollow way starts modestly in the east behind the vicarage, but becomes a massive cutting (it could almost be seen as a defensive ditch) in its widening approaches to Halam House Farm. A large mound sits by the mouth of the deep hollow way. A large elongated mound is set in the orchard, east of L5499. Ridge and furrow behind the vicarage is flanked by more terraced areas. (1)
See L5499, L10447, L10450 for adjacent earthworks, M5498 for dovecote.
