Full Description

Groups of irregularly shaped hollows at the NE end. Linear banks crossing the field opposite Dunromin. Lynchet/terrace bank and ditch running SW through the field. Large circular terraced area at the south east end of the same field. Rectangular terraced areas and possible platform just to the north and NW of this. Hollow running east to the lake in the old channel. NB This had silted up completely, but the farmer dug it out with a JCB last year. In the SW is a very large hollow with curving sides in the east. The western side is made up of the boundary of Gibsmere House and a right angled terrace bank. A mound is sited NE of the hollow. (1)
