Type FW3/22) pillbox
The pillbox is in a commanding position with clear views north, east and south. The entrance faces W.
The pillbox is hexagonal, brick built on a concrete raft and with a concrete roof. The central pillar has been removed as have the concrete shelves. (1)

The World War II concrete and brick pillbox is in a commanding position with clear views north, east and south. The pillbox was constructed in the period 1940 to 1941 and was in a good condition during the Defence of Britain field visit in 2000. It is a brick-shuttered type 22 pillbox, with a concrete roof and It is fenced around. The site is located at Costock Grange Stud, Costock (2)
