The site of a World War II concrete and steel spigot mortar emplacement. It was constructed after May 1941 and was seen in a good condition during a 1996 Defence of Britain field visit. It was previously located on waste ground, now on the edge of a rear garden of Millington Springs Nursing Home. A pillar has been completely exposed following landscaping for this garden. A plaque is now attached commemorating the Home Guard members and other active members of Selston during 1939-45 war. Millington Springs, Portland Road, Selston. (2)
