Full Description

Flints are thinly scattered across the field and are mostly found towards the edges or beyond the cropmark complex. At least two periods seem to be represented, the Mesolithic/Early Neolithic and the Later Neolithic. The earliest group is mostly defined by the blade component plus at least one blade core and possible a long end scraper fragment might also belong to this earlier group. (1)
