Full Description

Flints are thinly scattered across the field and are mostly found towards the edges or beyond the cropmark complex. At least two periods seem to be represented, the Mesolithic/Early Neolithic and the Later Neolithic. The diagnostic pieces of the later group comprise of a probable oblique arrowhead fragment, a discoidal core fragment and squat flakes. (1)
