Full Description

This 100m x 2m trench was located so as to cross geophysical survey areas H and I to the south of Mons Pool (2) parallel to the field road which forms the northern boundary of the application site west of Trench 7. Archaeological features included a wide linear feature orientated northeast – southwest. Finds included large quantities of Romano-British pottery and a Roman coin. (1)
