Over burden was machine excavated along a strip down the east side of Phase 2 to provide an access road. Two further strips were excavated at the northern and southern ends of the area to provide approximate east – west long sections. The exposed southwest-facing section of the access road showed a feature which was interpreted as a possible ditch or Pit c. 1.20m wide and 0.60m deep. (1)
