Full Description

Trench 4 was excavated 11m from the church. It revealed P Med disturbance, largely in the form of C19 gravecuts (not bottomed). Finds from the fills included C19 pottery , but little disarticulated human bone. This may indicate that the N side of the churhcyard was not used as a place of burial until late in the P Med period.
