Full Description

Five small trenches were dug at intervals along the length of the carpark adjacent to the brick wall from the road to the kissing gate … all contained evidence of disturbance, including large pieces of unshaped skerry in trenches 2 and 3. … vitrified brick in trench 2 … pottery and bone fragments in trench 3, including animal teeth, probably sheep. One shard ridged and greenish glazed. … From corner of aisle to boiler house much builders rubble including skerry and slate. (1)
