Full Description

Traces of a limestone wall seen during a site visit. Most had apparently already been removed, but 2-3 courses of limestone blocks were visible behind an abutting brick wall, and the higher level of soil on the garage side (which later collapsed) had been retained by something, possibly a continuation of this wall. Fragments of limestone were seen in the trench A-A. This may be associated with the fragment of wall seen nearby. (1)
See L11469 for nearby wall fragment, L11470 and L11471 for features reported from watching brief.
