Full Description

Ro coin hoard in pot found at 8 Greenholm Close. 298 coins, antoniniani and barbarous radiates. Gallienus, Tacitus, Probus, Gallienus, Tetricus I and II, Victorinus, Aurelian? Claudius Gothicus? (1)

Findspot of a Roman coin hoard uncovered in a garden in Greenholm Close in 1986. It consisted of 304 radiates ranging in date from Valerian and Gallienus to Probus, AD 253-282. The hoard is now in the Castle Museum, Nottingham. (3)
