Full Description

Late BA socketed spearhead found on Sookholme Moor, Warsop , 20-30yds NW of the River Meden, c 10-12in down, May 1990. Covered with iron staining, said to have had part of shaft in socket when found, indicating possible river origin (NB Meden has been straightened near this point). (1)
