Full Description

A series of ditches, pits and post holes containing medieval and early post medieval sherds. Artefacts included pottery (from Nottingham, Lincolnshire and ?Staffordshire), copper alloy and iron objects. The ditches represented a recut property boundary whilst the pits, post holes and artefacts are evidence of probable settlement activity within the plot. (1)
