A small (0.5x1m x 0.2m deep) oval pit with steeply sloping sides and a flattish base, with a single fill of burnt stone in dark, sooty, silty matrix reminiscent of the burnt mound material. Sides of the pit were not visibly burnt. A thin scatter of burnt stone lay around the pit. Possible central stake hole. (1)
