Full Description

(8 ditches are recorded in the section drawing), one of these ditches could represent a continuation of the line of a field division to the N, but at least one is pre-enclosure as Romano-British pottery was recovered from its base. The pottery comprised greyware and a sherd of mortaria. This ditch lines up with the eastern-most ditch plotted of the cropmarks of L4851. This suggests these ditches form part of the brickwork plan system. (1)
See L6219 for nearby well, L5024 and L4851 for cropmarks, L11785 and L11786 for nearby features.
