Full Description

Sherds of plain handmade pot were found, [some] probably or certainly of Anglo-Saxon date, and [some] probably of the Iron Age. .. A significant concentration … clearly support the existing evidence for significant IA or Saxon activity (or both) on the site [distribution map shows mostly IA at this location]. (1)
The scatter also extends somewhat into the fields to the S.
See L11316 and L11317 for nearby contemporary concentrations.
