Full Description

A piece of sandstone, wedge shaped and with a lead filled plug. Along one end, the stone still bore the marks of very careful dressing. Any decoration on the surface had been eradicated when the stone was roughly redressed with random chiselling. It appeared the stone had then been used as a step, presumably to one of the outhouses.
