Full Description

At the field entrance, the trench stratigraphy changed for a distance of 4.5m. An underlying deposit of clay and gravel 0.18m thich above broken brick rubble. The observation coincided with a curvi-linear depression recorded in the arable field N of the road which probably marks a medieval sunken track. (1)
