Full Description

A NW-SE wall foundation was cut by the pipe trench close to the property boundary E of the Parish Rooms. The foundation was c.0.85m wide and consisted of medium-large rough blocks of soft grey stone. The base of the foundation lay 0.95m below the road. The direction of the foundation suggested that it was a precursor of the present property boundary but had extended at least 1.7m further to the S of the modern fence line until the road had been widened or re-aligned on this corner.
