Full Description

Watching brief at quarry. The pit alignment (L11597) was succeeded by a linear ditch / gully that cut through some of the pits. This continued on the same alignment … before turning 90 degrees and heading NW in the form of a double ditch. A ditch 15m SE … may have been contemporary. On the SW side of the W/B area another substantial ditch alignment was recorded running NE-SW. This was traced over c.180m (1)
See L11597 for pit alignment, L11599 for Neo - BA pit and BA finds.
