Full Description

Excavation (of test pits) revelealed a sequence of natural deposits overlain by C16 to C17 dumps. The findings indicate the relatively natural state of the Med river frontage which was gradually reclaimed as a result of sustained refuse disposal throughout the later Med period. (1)
