Full Description

Fieldwalking, fields II, 7300 and 5600. Post med pottery was recorded but not collected. It appears to be fairly evenly scattered with higher density at SE corner of field 5600 and along the boundary adjacent to the road. Probably represents manuring. Concentrations in field II towards the W corner and the N edge, also in the W corner of field 7300, are most probably associated with the oil bore holes. (1)
See L11853 for fire-cracked pebbles, L11856 for flints, L11858 for Ro pottery, L11859 for medieval pottery.
