Full Description

A watching brief was maintained during the stripping of topsoil. A mixed assemblage of pottery was recovered. 12 of the sherds found had a black matrix, these have been identified as probably being late IA, though identification is not certain due to the nature of the sherds (4 were from L11864). (1)
Grid ref centred on S section of roadline, from chainage 320.
