Full Description

Topsoil stripping, Phase 6 - A backfilled ditch, fill contained modern pottery and roof slate fragments. Phase 7 - large irregular depression in the centre of the field which may have been a shallow post med quarry, possibly coinciding with a field ditch draining to the stream. The topsoil produced infrequent post med and modern pottery fragments. A copper alloy object found on the stripped surface has been identified as modern. (1)
See L11920 for flints.
