Full Description

An oval pit, 0.8m wide and 0.32m deep, was filled with mixed sand with charcoal fragments and several large, heat affected stones. The fill contained a single sherd of late BA / IA pottery. Immediately to the E of the pit was a smaller and earlier feature which contained no archaeological finds. (1)
See L11927 for Saxon feature with very similar fill, it is possible this pit is actually E Med with residual pottery.
See L11925 for Ro pot, L11926 for flint.
