Full Description

The topographic survey confirmed the presence of two possible platforms varying between 10 and 20m in length separated by what appears to be a recent (overgrown) track running roughly SW-NE. Magnetometer survey identified a pattern of strongly magnetic material covering a rectangular area not less than 20 x 10m on an almost E-W alignment, possibly an agricultural outbuilding. Machine removal of topsoil revealed at least two bricks and other (apparently) post medieval material. (1)
Grid ref centred.
See L11931 for burnt material just to north, which appears to be what was identified by magnetometer. See L11932 for P Med material.
