Full Description

The watching brief in Phases 3 and 4 revealed two ditches and a pit. Excavation and watching brief in Phase 5 - A large expanse of till on the hill slope, containing a varied range of finds. Ditches forming field boundaries and other minor features, containing P Med pottery. Pottery includes unidentified types and Med - Mod: Midlands Yellow, C17 - C18. Brown glazed earthenware, black glazed wares, C17 - C18. Late earthenwares C18 - C20. Glazed floor tile, C13 - C18. Pantile, C18 - C20. (1)
