Full Description

Watching brief during topsoil stripping. Two concentrations of pottery, flint, fire cracked stones and charcoal have been identified and are provisionally termed 'middens'. ... At the same level, a surface containing numerous similar linear marks on a variety of orientations, interpreted as plough marks or ard marks. (1)
