Full Description
At Court Hill, a central spot on high land, is a well defined tumulus called the Cuckoo Bush, surrounded by a shallow ditch. (Suggests this was the barrow at "Gotham" opened by Bateman in 1847, but that was in Derbys). (1)
Mound, possibly a barrow. 20m diameter, 1.5m high, ditched. (2)
The only probable tumulus known to this investigator adjacent to Gotham, to which the above report might apply, is "Cuckoo Bush", which is very overgrown so that any surface indication of an early excavation cannot now be seen. (3)
